Spring return marking

In this spring return marking system, the marking is achieved by a partial revolution of the marking roll. The advantage is, that different work piece diameters can be marked. (Types 41/42)

Application:

• Marking roll suitable for any work piece diameter
• Marking roll can be used for the marking of different work pieces
• Usually 3 driving points visible on the marked work piece
• Precise setting of the text along the work piece circumference possible (e.g. setting scale)

Characteristics:

• Marking is achieved by a partial revolution of the marking roll
• Single contact of the marking roll. After unwinding of the text, the tool is retracted and returns to the start position

Handling:

• Precise concentricity required
• Variations of the work piece diameter are possible
