Continuous roll marking

The marking is achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll. The marking roll is bound to a certain work piece diameter. The typ 40-A is especially suitable for turned-parts with variable marking contents, inasmuch the round segment with single letters can be exchanged, according to the application requirements.

Application:

• Marking roll bound to a certain work piece diameter
• Suitable for standard tool holder
• Driving knurl can be removed through further processing after the marking operation (e.g. cutting off)
• Round segment easily exchangeable and mountable

Characteristics:

• Marking is achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll
• Continuous contact of the marking roll during the marking process until tool retraction

Handling:

• Precise concentricity required
• No deviation in work piece diameter possible
