zeus® Form knurling wheels - non-cutting forming

General information

 

Knurling wheels for form knurling with points down are applied for plunge knurling on our form knurling tool series RD1. On the work piece they produce the corresponding counter according to DIN 82. zeus® knurling wheels for form knurling have a standard chamfer of 45°. The chamfer improves the forming process and thus avoids tooth breakage.

 

Further to the standard version made of powder metal all mentioned products are also available in HSS. Any pitches, even special ones which are not listed in our standard portfolio, are manufactured on request according to our customers' specifications.
