Investment boosts growthThe Hommel + Keller Group launches their fourth business division trading under the name H+K Carbotec GmbH.
One year after the depression Hommel + Keller Group continues its way of economic growth. An additional building with a total area of 1000 m², amplifying the headquarters in Aldingen, has now been completed. The recently founded subsidiary H+K Carbotec GmbH is starting up the heat treatment technology of inert gas hardening in its new premises.
During the economic and financial depression the investment in a fully automated inert gas hardening line had to be put on hold. But in spring 2010 the foundation of the new business division, the H+K Carbotec GmbH, could be realised. The subsequent extension of the company premises set the course for the future: Another step towards a full-range provider of all heat treatment procedures is done.
The company can now offer the established hardening with inert gas, in addition to the vacuum technology, nitriding technology and galvanic treatments. The new facilities do also allow additional treatments such as nitrocarburising as well as hardening and tempering with inert gas. This investment makes the Hommel + Keller Group an even more attractive business partner as one-stop supplier of comprehensive services and benefits.
The Hommel + Keller Group combines four business divisions: precision tools, heat treatments, surface coatings and inert gas hardening.
