PVD - coatings

Our affiliate, the H+K Surface Technology GmbH, is specialised in reliable and cost-effective PVD-coating technologies for cutting, forming and punching tools.
These technologies allow all kinds of established PVD coatings as well as modern nanocomposite coatings. This maximum flexibility makes us a valuable business partner for all customers´ requirements.

HKS nanocomposite coatings

With our LARC® coating systems we are able to produce coatings with a special layer composition. The HKS nanocomposite coatings are especially suitable for high-performance cutting and for dry processing thanks to their extremely high oxidation resistance (nACRo®, nACo®) and temperature stability.

HKS nanocomposite + CBC

A pure carbon layer (CBC) is applied on top of the HKS nanocomposite coating. Thanks to the properties of carbon, this double coating significantly reduces the adhesion factor.

HKS established coatings

The established coatings earn increase in productivity and sustained cost optimisation for cutting, forming and punching tools.
